French Revolution

It is the late 18th century (1700's). Due to the recent success of the American Revolution, a revolution has erupted in France as well. You are a French citizen, and do not want to live in all out chaos (Hobbes' state of nature). You decide you will seize power and help stabilize France. In order to do this, you must write a pamphlet to alert your fellow citizens as to why you are the ideal candidate for the job. This pamphlet must include the following:

A) A list of at least two (2) current problems you see in France
- One (1) solution that you will offer to each of these problems

B) A list of at least one (1) change you will implement in the government
- Each change must be supported by one of the enlightenment thinkers

C)Why you are better suited to lead than King Louis XVI, Robespierre, and Napoleon
You must choose at least 1 of these 3 leaders
For each leader you choose, you must include:
- Short Biographical information
- One quote and reflection of what it means about that person
- One (1) interesting fun fact about person
- One (1) paragraph that explains why you are a better leader than them

D) At least two (2) pictures that represent your leadership qualities and a couple sentences to explain each picture
A problem that the France are trying to deal with are unemployment, king, and war. to help with the war problem is you could stop the war and save your money as well so there are too easy ways to resolve your problem's. win the war fast and or stop the war to save the money you could use to help your society. They also could of killed the king so they didn't have one. One thing that they consider is war so they could fight for their freedom so they wouldn't have a king of France and by them fighting for this freedom they haven't had a king sense. King Louis XVI was born as Louis-August, he was a guy who was a pushover and had no back bone. His father died of lung tuberculosis at age 36 before having a chance to become the next King of France.Although he was a good student with particular interest in Science, he wasn't prepared to become King. He was probably a little too shy (soft). he was the oldest of his brother and sisters. When Louis XVI succeeded to the throne in 1774, he was not yet 20 years old. He had an enormous responsibility, as the government was deeply in debt. if i was the leader of France i would first provided more jobs for my people and I would make the people fear me but not hate me so they would not think of me and a pushover. although he did do a lot of good thing when he was first in the driver seat he fell behind quick

    This is a great start. Really cool information about the king. I had no idea about a bunch of that stuff, keep up the excellent work sir.
