A) A list of at least two (2) current problems you see in France
- One (1) solution that you will offer to each of these problemsTwo current problems in France are that the government is very inconsistent and that the poor are under-represented.A solution to the inconsistent government is to get a strong new leader who can actually make decisions and stick with them unlike Louis XVI.
A solution to the unfair representation is to give representatives to the different groups based on the number of people in the different groups. This will help to balance out the power between the rich and poor.
B) A list of at least one (1) change you will implement in the government
- Each change must be supported by one of the enlightenment thinkersOne change I would make in the government would be to use more of John Lockes ideas to create a government where the people can decide about what to do for different issues. I would also use Montesquieu’s ideas so that power is checked, and no one person has too much.
C)Why you are better suited to lead than King Louis XVI, Robespierre, and Napoleon
You must choose at least 1 of these 3 leadersFor each leader you choose, you must include:
- Short Biographical information- One quote and reflection of what it means about that person
- One (1) interesting fun fact about person
- One (1) paragraph that explains why you are a better leader than them
I am better suited to lead France than Robespierre, because Robespierre had very controlling views, and although he tried to make a better country, he always believed he was right. If anyone disagreed with him, he would just kill them with the guillotine instead of listening to their opinions. This led to a great fear in France. One interesting fact about Robespierre is that after a while, his enemies decided to put him on trial, and eventually he was killed by the guillotine, the same way he killed all his enemies.
If I were leader, I wouldn’t kill people just for disagreeing with me, instead I would listen and try to find a solution that everyone could live with. This would prevent unnecessary fear and uncertainty in the government.

French Revolution
Next Revolutionary Leader (NRL)

A problem I have observed in France are the French leaders and this great fear they have created. French leaders did not have a good structure toward their empires. Leaders such as King Louis XVI and his wife who spent too much. Robespierre, who was not open, and caused that revolution to spin out of control. A way to fix these
French Revolution
French Revolution
1) There are two major problems in France. There is a lack of leadership and an unequal balance of power between the social classes. As the leader of France I would make the social classes equal by distributing the power. I would give the majority of voting to the peasants. They represent the majority of the country. If took over as the ruler of France I wouldn't be as passive as King Louis. I wouldn't let people tell how to rule. I would be fair and want to represent the choices of the citizens.
2) One change I would have is more power to the people. I would want to run a democratic government. The people's choice would be extremely important to me. I would more time to consider cases that involve murder. I would use the guillotione very carefully. Once you kill someone you can't take it back.
3) King Louis is the king of France. He was very inconsistent and was manipulated by the higher classes . He would tell the social classes different things. I would be a better ruler then Louis because I would be honest. I'd make sure everyone was being told the same thing.
"Do not follow the bad example which I have set you; I have often undertaken war too lightly and have sustained it for vanity. Do not imitate me, but be a peaceful prince, and may you apply yourself principally to the alleviation of the burdens of your subjects".
I ask you why would you want a ruler who tells people not to be like him.?
Napoleon was a poor leader too. Napoleon was always off fighting in Wars. He would come back and tell everyone that he had won the battle. He was to power hungry to be a good ruler. He declared himself the emperor of France. The people didn't elect him. Having a dishonest leader could be a real setback.
"A revolution is an idea which has found its bayonets."
Napoleon is obsessed with war. Constant won't benefit France. Being in war to long would take up people's time and resources.
Louis XVI. Of course it is fair to give everyone a chance to have some power, but when we receive a leader like this, he/she will not be in the position for long. France and its people cannot afford a bad leader, we as people deserve much more than being cheated for money. So if you chose me to become a leader, I would want the best for the people, because I count as a citizen also, and if i destroy my country, it would not only largely effect the people, but it will effect me and as well as my family, which proves i will treat the people right.
A change that I would make in the government would be that I would change ruling to a democracy form. I believe in everyone having a say in what is being chosen for the ALL, the ALL includes the people, so why not allow the people to have a say??? Exactly they should have a say, which is why I want a democracy, so the people have power as well, not just the supreme ruler. Locke supports this, because he as well believed in the people, and trusted that they would make right decisions, and should be able to have a say.
Maximilien Robespierre was a very powerful leader, who always thought he was right. When someone would disagree with him, he would give them punishment. Ultimately he wasn't really loved by that many.
"Terror is Justified", this is what Robespierre ruled by, he believed that scaring people and hurting them was okay. When someone disagreed with him he believed it was the right thing to do, so he just killed them. Even if someone didn't do anything and he didn't like them, he would kill them, no questions asked.
Robespierre was a very influential leader in the Jacobin club. I believe this was because he liked them, but he didn't treat others in this manner.
I am a better leader than Robespierre because all he pretty much cared about was himself, money, and the Jacobin's. People could do as little as walking on the street, minding their own business, and would get arrested, just because Robespierre didn't like him/her. Just because I may dislike someone I wouldn't arrest them for that reason. I would listen to the people and and take in what they have to say, and actually base my rules on them. People deserve power, and with me as a leader, they will be given that power.
Obama is who i would be, he is strong, listens to the people and and takes into consideration of what they say.
I would be MLK, what was best for the people and wanted FREEDOM. This is who I admire.

the social classes in France suck! there are a few rich and wealthy people and even less church leaders.
Another problem is the reign of terror. the reign of terror was a time when if people didnt like each other they would file a report and they would go to court and do a trial. about ten minutes later the person who is being tried would go to get their head off.
Solutions:
I would make the rich people pay taxes.
I would try the people, and if i think they are guilty i would not kill them. I would imprison them.
change in the government:
I would have to go with locke, and have a democracy. I would do that because I believe all people are good and they should be able to make their own desisions together.
Who are you better than?
I am better than Robesphere. I am better than him because he is the person that caused the reign of terror. Also most people call him a blood-thirsty leader.that is completely true because when people complained about other people all he did was give them a trial then he sends them to the guietine. he was born in 1758,and he died in 1794. Thats only 30-40 years of life.

Aalaa: problems in French revolution

i put this image because every leader have to be open mainded

this period cause revolutions
French Revolution
This picture represent my leader ship of being free. FrenchRevolutionIt is the late 18th century (1700's). Due to the recent success of the American Revolution, a revolution has erupted in France as well. You are a French citizen, and do not want to live in all out chaos (Hobbes' state of nature). You decide you will seize power and help stabilize France. In order to do this, you must write a pamphlet to alert your fellow citizens as to why you are the ideal candidate for the job. This pamphlet must include the following:
:)
A.) PROBLEMS:
1. The social classes in France are horrible, there are few rich and wealthy people and even fewer church members, meaning that about 90% of their population is poor and struggling people.
2. The reign of terror was a time where the rulers of France would arrest people without having any real reasoning behind it, they would also put them to a life sentence or chop their heads off
SOLUTIONS:
1. I would make the rich people pay more taxes then the poor people so then the poor people could still be able to save their money.
2. I would make a better judge system so we can put people on trial and decide if they are guilty in a better way then just thinking there guilty and killing them
B.) CHANGE:
1. One change I will make is to make the social classes more even by setting up a tax system that will help the poorest class the most. With uneven taxes the richer classes pay more taxes then the poor classes so that the poor can save their money better by not having to pay so much. Hobbes said that men are born evil and need a strong government to keep them under control, meaning if we had a weak government that everyone would try to fight about taxes and nothing would be accomplished in the end.
C.) King Louis XVI
1.) King Louis XVI does not stand up for himself and he does whatever anyone tells him to do, he is mostly a sidekick to his wife Marie Antoinette.
2.) "I will never consent to the plundering of my clergy and my nobles. Fine actions had earned them their privileges; the king of France must conserve those privileges for them." Kind Louis XVI is talking about how he wants to become his own person and be the true ruler of France, but he never accomplishes this. This may just be another act hes playing for his citizens, showing them that he's trying to be a real King when in reality he's not.
3.) Some fun facts about King Louis XVI were that him and his wife Marie Antoinette got married when she was 14 and he was 15, he also needed to have an operation to make him able to get Marie pregnant. One of his many hobbies included lock making.
4.) I am a better leader then King Louis XVI because I stick up for myself and when I make a choice I stick to it and I don't change my mind just because a group of people don't agree with me. Another thing is that King Louis XVI let his wife, Marie Antoinette run his government and his life, I wouldn't let one person run something that is rightfully mine. I am a better leader then King Louis XVI because I will run my country, not my citizens and not my spouse.
D.)

A) there is not power, no order , food is scarce, we live with no representation, and every decision our leaders make we have no say in them.
B) I would be Frances new best leader I would spend Frances money wisely and on smart things not my clothes or castle. I would be the best representative for France because I'm strong, fierce, smart but loving and caring. The decisions I would make for the country would be voted on by the people to help decide the out come. The people would have power also but I would'nt be a push over. That is why when France is in need no need to fear Kane will be there.
c)king louis was a leader in france he would tell pe
lol...
B)
You know what we need to do if you pick me? Well, we're going raid and find King Louis. We'll charge into his castle with a rage level of 5000+. We'll come in with fiery madness and teach that spineless coward who really owns the country. Locke said that leaders could be overthrown by the citizens if proved unworthy. It is the citizens who decide who governs them. Following his words, we are able to overthrow King Louis. Now, once we overthrow him, I'll become your new leader. First we will all have an equal chance of voting based on the number of people in each esate. For example, perhaps the first higher esates will have 300 votes and the bottom class would have 600 in total. Therefore, we would have all an equal chance to represent ourselves.
C) King Louis was a very weak leader of France. Instead of indulging in studies and learning about economics he was often found outside hunting and doing outdoor activities. A leader requires a vast knowledge of politics, economics, and various subjects. King Louis was dissatisfied with all of them and rather spend time outside lallygagging.
In yahoo answers, I quote, "
D)
I AM A POLAR BEAR. Because I am cute and cuddly. And you can hug me because I'm fuzzy. But if you touch my babies, I claw your face off.
French Revolution
explain each picture
Overpowering wealthy class and they only consist of 3% of population and 97% is the poor with only 1/3 of say in voting.
France has fallen into a fearing time where the people are scared about the making of a new government due to their uncontrolled and chaotic ways. This causes many suicides and loss of hope.
I plan to create an organized structured government where the French can be happy in their own land and advance as a country with a new and improved leader,me.
Maximilien Robespierre was a positive leader who followed John Lockes theory of "all men are naturally good" Although his ideas were good he was very positive he reflected them horribly by cutting the heads of the people who disagreed with him. Like John Locke says "Men are all good and do not need a structure to lead their people." I believe if you are a follower of this theory you wouldn't need a leader. One thing is to agree and grow from this and the other is to lead from it its contradicting itself. I would allow the people to have some say into their life plans and trust that they are good.
French Revolution
~People were being killed or punished for no reason
Solutions
~To make high levels have to pay taxes also
~Make all levels equal so no one is treated unfairly
~Find better leaders
Change
The change I would make would be to have a better person in government to lead the people fairly. Also i would make the "higher" class pay taxes more than the middle class, because it would even out the money they each receive. The wealthier people make more money, doesn't make them better though. They should have to pay taxes just like everyone else.
Maximilien Robespierre
Maximilien Robespierre was one of the leaders during the French Revolution. He wasn't what you would call a good leader. He was very controlling and only like the way he though, he didn't care what anyone else had to say. He was also part of the Jacobin political party, which believed strongly in the "Reign of Terror".
Quote
"Terror is only justice: prompt, severe and inflexible; it is then an emanation of virtue; it is less a distinct principle than a natural consequence of the general principle of democracy, applied to the most pressing wants of the country."
When Maximilien said this, what he was trying to say was that the consequence should not just be something that is "natural" or happens every time, it should be something that is wanted by the citizens of the town or people of higher power.
Interesting Fact
Maximilian had the nickname incorruptible when he was leader. He believed so strongly in his own opinion that when people came to him with their ideas he wouldn't even budge to consider them.
I am a Better Leader
Maximilian did not care about anyone besides himself and his own ideas. I actually listen to what people have to say, but do what's best for everyone. Not just what's for me or for certain people. Also he punishes people for doing absolutely nothing wrong. He would kill someone if he just didn't like the way they looked. I would only punish someone when the consequence was neccisary. Maximilian was not a good leader. He was unfair and cruel and that's why I would be a better leader than him.
